I love this pattern–it is fun to sew [a must for me] as well as pretty versatile. My wonderful friend Tricia made this version of the June quilt, and I love what she did with it. This quilt was quilted by Abby Latimer, using a Target overall pattern. I love how it mimics the “curves” of the quilt while adding movement.

Aren’t these colors fun? Originally, I had purchased the fabric below–I loved the summery feel. But isn’t it amazing how adding the coral/hot pink fabric adds such a punch!?

Want to hear a great story? I purchased 2 different acid yellow fabrics for the binding, and both of them were wrong. Literally, the only thing I had to do with this quilt was purchase the fabric!!! Finally, I checked my receipt from the original purchase, and ordered the right yellow solid. Anyone else have days like that?

You can see the quilting really well in this photo, too!

If you make this version of this quilt pattern, we have instructions for how much to purchase included in the pattern. You need a bit more of the purple than the original pattern calls for.

Isn’t this pretty? These spring tulips were in my garden a few months ago, and matched the quilt so perfectly!
